FAQ

  • Will my art come framed?

    Not unless it specifies in the description on the individual listing. Framing is so personal, so in most cases I want to let you find a beautiful frame that will fit in with your decor. I occasionally thrift frames and if a particular frame seems to pair great with a piece, I may include it, but it will be made clear in the listing.

  • How should I display my art?

    Watercolor paintings are not varnished in any way, and I recommend all watercolor original paintings to be framed behind glass-UV protectant, if possible. For longevity, do not hang in a high moisture area or in direct sunlight. Frames are not included unless specifically noted in the listing. A lot of my paintings are standard sizes, but if not, your local framer can help you find a perfect mat and frame to display your art in your home for years to come!

    Oil paintings are varnished with a retouch varnish. They are on stretched canvas, so can be hung alone or framed in a floater frame or something similar.

  • How will my painting be shipped?

     Watercolor paintings will be shipped flat with backer board in a rigid mailer unless they are >11x14”. Paintings >11x14” will be rolled carefully and placed in a sturdy tube for shipping.

    Oil paintings will be shipped securely and protected in a box.

  • Do you offer returns/exchanges?

    All original art sales are final. If you are not satisfied with your print, please notify me within 7 days, and an exchange can be made. Please know that I do my best to accurately capture the colors either with a camera or scanner, but that colors may vary slightly amongst different screens/monitors. In case of failed delivery, please file a claim with USPS, as I am not responsible for the artwork once it is in transit. Please make sure the shipping address you entered at checkout is correct, as no refunds will be issued for an incorrectly entered address.

  • Who owns the copyright to the art that was purchased?

    Jamie Johnson, the artist, retains all copyrights to all art sold. The collector/buyer may not reproduce the artwork.

  • Do you offer wholesale?
